Wavelengths

Calculate the wavelength of a photon with an energy of 0.3 eV, the wavelength of an electron with a kinetic energy of 0.3 eV, the wavelength of a phonon with an energy of 0.3 eV, and the wavelength of a helium atom with a kinetic energy of 0.3 eV.

Assume that the speed of sound is 1000 m/s. The mass of a helium atom is 6.6×10-27 kg.

λphoton = m

λelectron = m

λphonon = m

λHe = m
