This year the destination of our excursion for the seminar on construction and design was Venice and The Biennale. This excursion provided students with their first opportunity to see a city through the architect’s eye. Students analyzed, sketched and mapped the city structure and public spaces. Then we went to the Biennale for two days where the results of the previous days were presented and became part of the exhibitions. Of course the exhibitions and national pavilions were studied intensively.
