Intensified Density – Symposium
Strategies for densification in the peri-urban zone
October,12th 2:00 – 7:00 pm
HDA – Haus der Architektur
Mariahilferstraße 2, 8020 Graz
The fringes of our cities are increasingly fraying out into the countryside, creating a heterogeneous and highly dynamic fabric of commercial zones, area with single family homes, grown rural structures, and agricultural areas. As part of the Intensified Density research project, for one afternoon a panel of international town planners and architects will discuss the options available in terms of architecture and urban development in order to densify such areas on a sustainable basis.
