Femto DLPCA-200 Low Noise Current Amplifier
The DLPCA-200 is a variable-gain low-noise current amplifier. It is a transimpedance amplifier that accepts an input current and outputs a voltage that is proportional to the input current. For low frequency measurements, less than 10 Hz, it is relatively straightforward to use a transimpedance amplifier. The current is the output voltage divided by the gain in V/A. Measurements at higher frequencies are more difficult, especially if the device being measured has a high impedance. The gain and the frequency shift introduced by the amplifier are frequency dependent. The effects of parasitic inductances and capacitances in the measurement setup also increase as the frequency increases. |
